Trela is an Ultimate Banjo & Kazooie and Hero player with a strong Ridley secondary from Texas. He is considered one of the best Banjo & Kazooie players in the world along with huto, one of the best Hero players along with Salem and Tsu, and one of the best Ridley players in the world along with Nair^, Plup and Locus. He was formerly ranked 3rd on both the Houston Power Rankings and the Texas Ultimate Power Rankings. Trela has taken sets off VoiD, Meme, Ismon, Daybreak, Awestin, and Skilly.
Trela is a smasher from Texas. He initially came to prominence during the Brawl era, where he established himself as the best Lucario player in the world, ranking 27th on the 2014 SSBBRank and 3rd on the Texas Brawl Power Rankings. He gained further recognition in Smash 4 playing Ryu, and was considered one of the best Ryu players of all time and the best Ryu player up until his initial retirement in early-2017. He is ranked 65th on the Panda Global Rankings 100 and has taken sets off of players such as ZeRo, Larry Lurr, MkLeo, Mr.R, VoiD, Zinoto, ESAM, and Mr E.

In SSB4, Trela was a Ryu player, and was considered the best Ryu player in the world prior to both Locus's rise and his initial retirement. Trela is currently ranked 4th on the Texas Smash 4 Power Rankings and 65th on the Panda Global Rankings 100. He has taken sets off of top players such as ZeRo, Larry Lurr, MkLeo, Mr.R, VoiD, Zinoto, ESAM, Mr E, and Rich Brown.
Since his retirement in 2017, Trela has seen sporadic appearances in tournaments, mostly in the Houston area. He also participated in several tournaments following the release of Ultimate, where he initially mained Ridley but eventually switched to Banjo & Kazooie; he has defeated Meme with Ridley and VoiD with Banjo & Kazooie. Following 2GG: Kongo Saga in late-2019, Trela went inactive once again and has since made only one tournament appearance at Houston's Limit Break II in 2022.

In SSBB, he was a Lucario player, and was considered the best Lucario player in the world. Trela was formerly ranked 27th on the 2014 SSBBRank, and 3rd on the Texas Brawl Power Rankings.
Tag origin
Trela's tag is derived from his name, Alberto. He removed the 'b' and the 'o', and left with Alert, he reversed it, creating Trela.

Tag origin[edit]

Trela's tag is derived from his name, Alberto. He removed the 'b' and the 'o', and left with Alert, he reversed it, creating Trela.
