Blades of the Quick and Mighty (柔と剛の剣, Soft and Hard Swords) is the 13th co-op event match out of a total of 21 in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In it, the players, Marth and Ike, respectively, are pitted against Link, Meta Knight, and Ganondorf on Temple. The music track for this event match is Attack, which is otherwise unavailable on Temple, normally playing on Castle Siege.
Trivia
- Ganondorf is the only character fought in this event that does not wield a sword (outside of his down taunt). However, he uses one for his smash attacks in Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
- This co-op event in Brawl is a reference to the Melee event (Event 41: En Garde!). Because one of the players is Marth, one of the opponents is Link, both events take place on the same stage (Temple), and both play a song from the Fire Emblem universe.
