Apex 2014 was the fifth tournament of the Apex tournament series directed by Alex Strife. It was held around the Martin Luther King Jr. weekend from January 17-19, 2014. Like previous tournaments of the series, Apex 2014 hosted a variety of fighting games including the three Smash Bros. games, as well as the Brawl mod Project M.
