Sethlon is a Roy player from Texas who is considered to be one of the best Project M Roy players in the world, and one of the best players in the early years of the mod, retroactively being ranked as a top 10 player from 2013 to 2015. Since Roy's addition, he has placed highly in nationals, with a 5th place finish at Apex 2014 and a 7th place finish at SKTAR 3. Sethlon was ranked 1st on the October 2014 version of the Southwest Project M Power Rankings.

In Melee, he originally mained Roy, since his first tournament in January 2005 until around 2012. Since then he has bounced around playing various high tier characters, including Fox, Falco, and Sheik. Due to his popularity and combo video Ashes to Ashes, Sethlon is often considered to be one of the best Roy players in the world. He also played Falco in Brawl, having attended a few early Brawl nationals.

On January 4, 2015 Sethlon announced that FX Game Exchange DFW would be sponsoring him.
