Secret Wars was a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate invitational held in Tampa, Florida, from August 5th-6th, 2022.

In a statement, the tournament organizers of Secret Wars stated that they decided to invite Samsora after contacting 12G, the organization who unbanned Samsora in New York tournaments, as well as discussion amongst community leaders and members of the local community. They noted how Samsora was only allowed to attend their tournament, and was still barred from attending any other tournament in the area. Samsora ultimately chose not to attend the invitational.

The top 3 players of Oblivion 100 qualified; this was extended to top 5 after Samsora and Jake dropped out:

Although Rideae placed 4th at the event, he chose not to attend.
