(I didn't know how to describe the similarities between Mew2 and D3 in regards to these event matches very well, so maybe someone can improve it. Also, I know D3 was an antagonist in a few Kirby games, but he's a straight-up villain throughout the anime.)

The Final Battle (最終決戦, Final Battle) is the 40th and penultimate solo event match out of a total of 41 in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This event pits the player against the Nintendo game antagonists, Bowser, King Dedede, and Ganondorf, while on Final Destination. The player has two stocks while each opponent has one stock. Despite the name of this solo event, this solo event may seem like the final one in the game. But if one completes all other 40 solo events, the player unlocks the secret 41st solo event (which has even harder enemies).

Trivia

  • The song used for this event is Final Destination (Melee). Interestingly, this song also plays on Melee's penultimate event, Event 50: Final Destination Match.
  • The event has a similar theme of opponents to The Showdown, in which the player fights against both Bowser and Ganondorf, alongside a character (Mewtwo and King Dedede) who is not necessarily a villain in their home series, but has played a significantly more villainous role in an anime adaptation of the original games.
  • The Japanese name of this event is the same as the Japanese name of Event 50 from Melee.
