The Final Battle is a single-player event match in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. The player must choose a character and take on Bowser, King Dedede and Ganondorf. The player has two stocks while the opponents each have one. The opponents' attacks all have large damage multipliers on Hard difficulty.

Progression[edit]

This event is unlocked by clearing Mechanical Menace. Completing the event unlocks the up path.

Clearing the event on hard difficulty awards 5000G.

Trivia[edit]

  • This event match is identical to the equivalently named event match from Super Smash Bros. Brawl, with the same opponents, stages, stock per character, and the ability to choose a character in both of them.
  • All three opponents in this event are fought individually in Diddy Kong, Simon, King K. Rool, and Terry's Classic Mode routes each.
    • Although they are fought individually by Diddy Kong, King K. Rool, and Terry each, Simon faces King Dedede with Charizard in Round 4 of his route and, as a reference to Melee's final event, Bowser & Ganondorf are instead fought alongside Mewtwo in the preceeding round after.
