All-Star Battle x1 is the 20th event match of 41 in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The player gets to choose which character to fight with against eight characters who are all newcomers in Brawl and playable from the start. When the player KOs an opponent, there is a short delay before the next opponent appears. Only two opponents can be fought at a time.

- The "x" in the event's name may be a reference to Brawl's subtitle being "X" in Japan, meaning the event's name translates to "All-Star Battle Brawl 1".
