- This event match is the only one in Brawl which requires one of the players to select Jigglypuff; this also occurs with Luigi in his event, The Great Remodeling Battle.
- This co-op event, along with The Dark Guardians and Four Swords Brawl, has a pattern of unlockable characters that cannot be unlocked until The Subspace Emissary has been beaten.
