Duster (ダスター, Duster) is a character from Mother 3, appearing as one of Lucas' party members and closest allies. He was the original owner of the Rope Snake, which Lucas uses for his grabs.

Origin

Duster is a resident of Tazmily Village and a master thief. He first appears in Chapter 1 when he helps Flint look for Hinawa, and later joins Lucas as a party member in Chapter 5 after going missing and regaining his memory from an earlier incident. He remains by Lucas' side until the very end of the game.

Duster, along with Boney, is a non-PSI user. Instead, Duster relies on his Thief Tools in combat, making him a very resourceful ally. There are six kinds of Thief Tools in the game, all of them allowing Duster to inflict certain status effects on enemies.
