MELEE-FC is a tournament series hosted by the Ship of Fools. The first four main installments each set a new Melee tournament attendance record, with MELEE-FC1 featuring 98 entrants, MELEE-FC3 featuring 186 entrants, MELEE-FC6 featuring 205 entrants, and MELEE-FC Diamond featuring 256 entrants. After a five-year hiatus, the series returned in 2012 with MELEE-FC10R Legacy, which also included one of the first Project M national tournaments.

There were other smaller tournaments such as MELEE-FC2 and MELEE-FC5, with the tournaments only receiving four and five entrants, respectively.
