Chillin (formerly known as chillindude829) is an American professional smasher. He is well known for telling everyone to Respect Their Elders, and not being lawful while doing so, forcing players to stop talking. He is notable for being the first notable Fox player in competitive Melee, but despite this, he is not a God, but rather a God-awful. His play has led many to start gawking as they look at his Fox, which is so outdated that he might as well stick to Smash 4 because he always loses by 4 stocks. Melee It On Me wasn't a fan of his style because he didn't stan his ground, and kicked him while he was down by giving him a paltry 54th on the 2015 SSBMRank due to his inability to beat neither Mango (even when he chokes) nor Armada (even when he hosts a tournament).

Tournament history
Melee
Chillin has been a contender in Melee tournaments since 2002, and was the first ever player to take a set off of Ken in a singles tournament (at Game Over in early 2004). However, no one could have told how foolish he would look when Ken brought it back in losers' bracket and brutally JV 4-stocked him in losers (evidence.zip showing the ass-whooping here), after which he probably threw his controller. During the 2003-2007 era of Melee, Chillin was a common participant in nationals, such as MLG events, but was exposed as a fraud because he won none of them and failed to make it to the final top 8 bracket in MLG Las Vegas 2006. Thus he was never a God, and about 10 years after Chillin's prime, Plup showed up and confirmed this by bodybagging Chillin's Fox and dot-zipping it shut.
During the 2008-2010 era, after Melee presence began dying out due to Brawl tournaments beginning to appear, Chillin continued to play Melee, but not at the same level that he used to. He briefly played Brawl shortly after its release, playing Snake and trying to disgrace his opponents and put them in their places by using Snake's missiles to hit them in the face. He placed 3rd at Critical Hit 3, though has since quit, viewing Brawl as a non-competitively viable fighting game due to its removal of techniques and overly defensive gameplay, which, in his opinion, took away from the depth of the game. However, he was possibly just scared of Ally and decided to watch his mouth before the better Snake player decided to call him out.
At Apex 2015, the Salty Suite went down. Chillin, who was tired of Leffen not showing his elders some respect, challenged Leffen to a first-to-five Fox ditto during the Salty Suite to try to make the up-and-coming Fox main come correct. He gained an early lead, but was swiftly 0-5'd, but he wasn't done yet. Being the underdog and not standing a chance, losing his placed bet of $100, he failed to make Leffen look dumb and didn't make any money. As he slowly rose up from his chair, looking awfully weak in front of thousands in the Salty Suite, he basically admitted that vanilla Fox didn't suit him and that he had to go find another, and learned his lesson and rescinded his color with the following words of wisdom: "My B."
Other Smash games
Chillin is also a professional Wolf player in the Brawl mod Project M. He commonly competes in Project M locals in the MD/VA area, though he has not made many impacts in singles events at national tournaments. He usually teams with ChuDat at nationals; the two have achieved decent results in doubles events.
He also occasionally entered SSB4 in regional tournaments, mainly using Mega Man.

Trivia
- At Apex 2015's Salty Suite exhibition, Chillin lost a money match to Leffen in Fox dittos; after losing all five games of the set, Chillin lost both $100 USD and the "rights" to use Fox's default costume. Since Chillin was unable to use Fox's default costume, he switched to using Fox's blue costume.
- Chillin is well-known for saying the phrase "My B" after his Salty Suite match with Leffen.
