Trivia[edit]
- If this tournament is considered a major, as some retroactive rankings have classified it as, WarriorKnight's placement of 9th with Bowser marks the highest placement from a Bowser player at a Melee major, while Bum's placement of 4th with Donkey Kong marked the best placement for a Donkey Kong player at a Melee major, as well as Donkey Kong's only top 8 placement at a major, until Junebug's run at Supernova 2024. SmashWiki, however, does not consider the tournament to have been a major.
