Heracross (ヘラクロス, Herakurosu, Heracros in Japanese language versions) is a fictional creature in the Pokémon media franchise.

Creature description

Heracross is a human-sized bipedal blue rhinoceros beetle. The Pokédex explains that it gathers in forests seeking its choice food, the sweet sap of trees, and is usually docile, but it chases off intruders with its horn if it is disturbed while sipping honey. In battle, it is an outright Herculean menace clad in a steel-hard shell: It charges in a straight line at its foe, slips beneath the foe's grasp, plants its sharp-clawed back legs firmly into the ground to give itself a secure and solid footing, and scoops up and hurls the opponent with its mighty and prized horn. Its power is such that it can easily throw around an object 100 times its own weight (which would equate to 6-tons), and can even topple a massive tree.
