Super Smash Con 2019 is the 5th edition of "Super Smash Con", a video game convention and national tournament focused on the Super Smash Bros. series. It is held in Chantilly, Virginia, from August 8th-11th, 2019.

Ultimate Heavies Only

The 8 heaviest characters in Ultimate (from lighest to heaviest), Piranha Plant, Incineroar, Charizard, Ganondorf, King Dedede, Donkey Kong, King K. Rool, and Bowser are the only characters allowed.

Smash Masters exhibitions

Rules: All five Smash games are played in a Round Robin best-of-three format (4 stocks for Smash 64 and Melee, 3 for Brawl and Ultimate, and 2 for Smash 4).

A points system is used to determine the winner of the exhibition:

  • 3 points awarded for each Smash game won
  • 1 point awarded for every big victory, earned by having a high amount of stocks at the end of a match (3 stocks or higher for Smash 64 and Melee, and 2 stocks or higher for Brawl, Smash 4, and Ultimate).
