- Dark Dive's throw has significantly less ending lag (FAF 50 → 25), making it considerably harder to Tech Check Ganondorf's recovery.

The move enables ledge grabs from the front starting on frame 19, and from behind starting on frame 38. Ganondorf can also fast fall as early as frame 46.
To B-reverse the move, the control stick has to be held backward either on the frame it is initiated, or until frame 5.
