Yoshi's Egg is a special item that only appears in Event 13: Yoshi's Egg in Super Smash Bros. Melee. It has a hurtbox and will break when it takes enough damage. It can be spawned as an item using Action Replay or the debug menu.
Yoshi's Egg can be picked up and tossed around, however, the egg is not meant to be used as a weapon - the objective is to protect it as Yoshi.
