Enhanceable Spirits are Spirits that can evolved into newer Spirits after maxing out their level.
Enhanceable Spirits will not give an ability and will state that it can be enhanced at level 99. Upon being enhanced, it will grant an ability and the Spirit's level will reset to level 1.
Enhanced Spirits are numbered directly above their Enhanceable Spirit.

Trivia
- The Zelda and Pokémon series have the most enhancable Spirits, with 9 each.
- The Yoshi, Star Fox, Wario, Pikmin, Xenoblade, Street Fighter, Splatoon series all have the fewest enhancable Spirits, with 1 each.
- Not counting Final Fantasy or series added by DLC, and Pac-Man is the only third-party universe not to have any enhancable Spirits.
