Sinji is a smasher from Brooklyn, New York. Originally a Super Smash Bros. Melee Fox player when he resided in Jamaica, he later became better known for his performances in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, where he played Pac-Man. Sinji is considered the greatest Smash 4 Pac-Man player of all time, boasting numerous strong performances with a character often deemed unviable. These results include a 9th-place finish at KTAR XIX, one of the few times a Pac-Man player had placed single-digits at a major, and finishing highly at some of the largest events of the year, including 17th at both Super Smash Con 2017 and Super Smash Con 2018. His results in the final year of competitive Smash 4, which include wins over players such as Dabuz, Marss, and Locus at ranked events, landed him at 48th on the PGR v5 and 42nd on the OrionRank 2018, which made him the only solo-Pac-Man player to rank on the PGR as well as the only one to rank in the top 50 on any global ranking. He was ultimately ranked 85th on the PGR 100, the only Pac-Man player to make it onto the list.
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Sinji continued to play Pac-Man, and was considered the best Pac-Man player in North America in the early metagame, as well as one of the best in the world in the first half of 2019. During this time, he finished top 8 at several major events, including Collision 2019 and MomoCon 2019, and defeated several notable top players of this era, including VoiD at Pound 2019, and both Cosmos and Myran at the latter event. As such, he was ranked 25th on the Spring 2019 PGRU and eventually finished the year as 47th on the OrionRank 2019. Since then, he has still put up several noteworthy performances in the post-pandemic metagame, and was ranked amongst the top 150 several times; as such, he remains one of the best Pac-Man players in North America.
