#Really? Comparing Kirby's nut with this? These things are badass. Being the 128th round, you'd think there'd be something special, something Melee-related - since the 64th round was all of the SSB64 characters, I was expecting this one to be all of the Melee characters. Could we perhaps do that next week, even if it is belated? RickTommy (talk) 00:49, 3 March 2012 (EST)
::64th was due to it being for the Nintendo 64. Melee is not called Super Smash Bros. 128, is it? <span style="font-family:Chiller"><big><big><span style="color:red">The</span> <span style="color:red">Solar</span> <span style="color:red">Dragon</span> <sup>(<span style="color:blue">Talk</span> - Contribs.)</sup></big></big></span> 05:07, 3 March 2012 (EST)
Even Round 64's 12 combatants was a serious stretch of the format (the page was hard to navigate through and a pain to format). 5. Those troopas get really annoying when you're just trying to speed through a level for one secret door at the end or something, ROBs don't really get in your way. Plus, I feel sorry for how they're being used. Unlike the troopas, who are obviously just stupid or something to keep coming back for more anyway.184.7.175.220 18:20, 20 February 2012 (EST)

 7. Er, what ROB Squad votes #1 and #5 said. Plus, while ROB Squad members can be obstacles at times, they're not nearly as annoying as the nefarious Koopa Troopa nuisances. Although admittedly, the Koopa Troopa are quite fun to jump on, what with their shells whizzing about this way and that and slamming into other foes. And the names of both of these groups are fun/awesome to say aloud. XD 72.3.33.4 15:49, 23 February 2012 (EST)

A very awesome fighter who also wields TEH FIRE and bravely carries Roy's legacy onward (and hopefully, Ike and Roy will fight alongside each other and Marth in SSB4). 1. Ike is a much stronger fighter. He does more damage, has more knockback, is much more sturdy and less likely to get knocked off, thereby giving him more survivability and more lethality. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.20.221.160 (talkcontribs) 04:03, 29 February 2012

Heh-heh, Brawl Taunts reference? Nice choice of a poll/fight, although it would have been nice if Pokémon Trainer (Red) was included as well, since his friends fight for him as well (more-so, since Pokémon Trainer never actually receives damage himself during a fight, unlike Olimar who is subject to direct damage and has to physically be in the battlefield "fighting area"). 72.3.33.16 15:00, 1 March 2012 (EST)

Round 128: Motion-Sensor Bomb vs. Gooey Bomb

Motionsensorbomb.jpg
Winner!!
Motion-Sensor Bomb
Motionsensorbomb.jpg

20 to 8.5
GooeyBomb.jpg
They both stick to terrain and explode, but one is stronger and has a three-game history (not including its original existance in the good ol' days of Rareware), while the other is on a timer and will happily stick to people as they scramble around looking for a tag. Which proximity detonation device has the bigger upside?

Votes for Motion-Sensor Bomb

 1. Hard to see when placed. 204.191.132.187 23:55, 2 March 2012 (EST)
 2. The Gooey Bomb is just weird. 123JamesHeart PatheticStickFigure.jpg 00:13, 3 March 2012 (EST)
 3. The Proximity Mine is better, no questions asked. And it works better, too. RickTommy (talk) 00:49, 3 March 2012 (EST)
 4. Motion Sensor Bomb seems to have far better knockback in my opinion. 110.174.90.69 01:34, 3 March 2012 (EST)
 5. Really? Comparing Kirby's nut with this? These things are badass. With the Gooey Bomb all you do is dodge all around randomly and you're safe, but with Motion Sensor Bombs, you don't even need its explosion to kill people, you can just throw the thing at them. 11. Throwing these at a wall is very deadly. Anyways these are difficult to detect if you lost track of them. Also has more power to them. One final thing, the Gooey Bomb can backfire if an opponent sticks in on you. LightningBlue: Need to Balance 17:14, 3 March 2012 (EST)

64th was due to it being for the Nintendo 64. Melee is not called Super Smash Bros. 128, is it? The Solar Dragon (Talk - Contribs.) 05:07, 3 March 2012 (EST)

Even Round 64's 12 combatants was a serious stretch of the format (the page was hard to navigate through and a pain to format). Without a paradigm shift I don't intend to do a round any bigger than that. Toomai Glittershine ??? The SMASH-GINEER 09:30, 3 March 2012 (EST)

You try and format a five-combatant round without skinny columns or asymmetricality. Not worth the hassle in my opinion, at least not as of this time. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Awesome 12:48, 3 March 2012 (EST)
