The Pirate Airship is the 37th event match in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The player fights as Toon Link against two Yoshis. The player must KO the opponents when the hurricane comes and the ship is in the sky. If the player KOs the opponents when the ship is at the sea, the opponents will respawn.
Strategy
Use the time before the first hurricane appears to build up damage on the two Yoshis. Try not to use any powerful attacks that could accidentally K.O. them. Once the ship begins rising, use powerful attacks to knock the damaged Yoshis off of the ship. If they survive, wait until the next hurricane arrives, continuing to build up more damage so it will be easier to kill them the next time.
Trivia
- Beating this event unlocks Song of Storms for the Pirate Ship stage.
- The Song of Storms plays during this whole event probably to recreate the effects this song has in the Legend of Zelda games. It causes rain to come down.
- The only Pirate Ship event that occurs during this match is the hurricane. There will be no rocks, bomb towers, etc. that you must wait for.
