Battle of the Dark Sides is the 7th Co-op Event Match in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Player 1 controls Link, while Player 2 controls Samus. This is the same as the solo event Dark Link Duel only now Samus is on Link's team and Dark Samus is on Dark Link's team. Each player has 200HP stamina. You win by dropping both the CPU's stamina to 0HP.
Strategies
Stay far away. Samus and Link both have quite a few projectiles. Use them for an advantage. Try using your ranged grab on this walk-off blast line stage.
Triva
Link and Samus both have Dark Sides, and that's why it's called Battle of the Dark Sides.
