Bonsly (ウソハチ, Usohachi in Japanese language trademarks) is a fictional creature in the Pokémon media franchise.

Creature description

Bonsly is a 4th Generation Rock type Pokémon and the pre-evolution of Sudowoodo. It is a small pot-like creature resembling a bonsai tree. It often cries on purpose as a tactic to cause others to show sympathy and therefore drop their guard.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl

As a Poké Ball Pokémon

Bonsly is one of the Pokémon that appears out of a Poké Ball. When it appears, it can be picked up and thrown at enemies, but is thrown and carried like a crate rather than a normal item. It won't fly very far when thrown due to its weight, but it strikes enemies with a lot of power. The target can be potentially knocked off of the stage even if he/she has less than 50 percent damage. Like any thrown item, Bonsly can be reflected.
