Gil (short for Gilgamesh) is the protagonist of Bandai Namco's The Tower of Druaga franchise.
In Super Smash Bros. 4
Gil is the basis of a downloadable content costume for Mii Swordfighters.
Origin
Gil first appeared in the 1984 arcade game The Tower of Druaga. The game featured Gil traversing the titular tower's 60 floors, fighting monsters and obtaining treasure in order to rescue the shrine maiden Ki from the demon Druaga.
