There are a total of 51 event matches in Melee but most event matches aren't available at the start of the game.  By successfully completing all previously accesible event matches, you'll be able to gain access to higher numbered ones.


To unlock event matches 31 - 39, you'll need to unlock the [[Young Link]], [[Jigglypuff]], [[Luigi]], and [[Falco]] characters.
==Co-Op Events==
A new feature introduced in Brawl are Co-Op Events.  Two players can now cooperatively partake in each event.  However, the Co-Op Event mode features a differing set of events that the regular mode.  Additionally, the total number of Co-Op Events is less than that of regular events.


To unlock event matches 40 - 50, you'll need to unlock [[Mr. Game and Watch]] (which means unlocking all other charaters as well).

An Event Match is a battle in which predetermined conditions (i.e. number of opponents, your strength, handicaps, and so on) are imposed. Event matches first appeared in Super Smash Bros. Melee, with as many as 51 being available. Event matches have been confirmed to return in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In Brawl however, new additions include 3 difficulty levels per event.


Co-Op Events
