==''[[Super Smash Bros. 4]]'' tier list==
At this moment, being rather early in the metagame and with patches and DLC characters, it is hard for me to make up my tier list due to the aforementioned things shaking the tier standings up within updates, and it may even be hard to even make up a Smash Back Room tier list as well. Once the time comes to make a tier list, it will be put here.
My own personal ''Smash 4'' tier list would come soon.

In the meantime, here is my not-so finalized tier list: [http://i.imgur.com/0C3Iahn.png] (as of September 14, 2015)

My personal tier lists if so.

How I rank my tier lists

As a general rule of thumb, I use letters showing how viable one tier is. To refresh anybody's mind, the higher the tier one character is means that they are better at winning tournaments that the tiers lower than said character, but in return they might not do as well as those higher than them. These letter tiers do not necessarily mean things like "top tier", "middle tier", or "bottom tier" and the like.

Rank Game
S The best characters to use in competitive play, and there are no real qualms in using them and having little to no flaws. The general consensus is that they do very well in winning tournaments.
A All-around solid viable characters. These guys are also usable to win tournaments with but not to the extent of those at S tier. Nevertheless, they are considerable choices.
B These characters are not as viable since their flaws shows. Their still fairly good to use though, and players are still able to win or rank high in tournaments with them.
C Characters that are a bit on the flawed side to use. They have situational uses to make them good, but don't expect to see these guys at tournaments that often.
D These characters may barely be viable, as they have at least a few niches that save them. They are generally mediocre characters overall and a bit leaning towards being bad to use, and characters in this tier and below have difficulty in tournaments.
E These characters are just not that viable at all. If you want to use them, expect to have a hard time in tournaments. However, one would simply just say to you that there are better characters to use.
F Characters that are never viable. They're ability to win tournaments are extremely unlikely, if not really impossible. Commonly known as the joke characters.

In this tier list I personally think Falcon should be higher than Fox due to being better overall in the more common Dream Land and having an better aerial game. Like the current tier list, Yoshi and Jigglypuff both ranks high here. Even though Link is the worst character on Dream Land, he is an underrated character in my opinion. If used in the rights hands, Link can be really good at keeping his opponents at bay with his projectiles and strong aerials. Samus also rose high from her last place and Luigi now resides at the bottom. Like the third SSB64 tier list, Pikachu has its own spot because I think it is way superior to the rest of the cast honestly.

Yoshi's rise up in many recent tier lists could be credited to aMSa. While it was a tough call to whether have Samus, Pikachu, or Dr. Mario take the top of the middle tier (also generally the top of the usually not too viable characters), Axe's great performance at MLG Anaheim 2014 and EVO 2014 has prompt me to put Pikachu there. Jigglypuff, in my opinion, should also be top tier, making it now five top tier characters; she's still not as strong as the top 4 characters but its something, maybe she's better than Marth, who knows. I also think Captain Falcon is the weakest of the viable characters so I dropped him below Ice Climbers (not next to Peach). Pichu rose three because I think he is an underrated character while Zelda fell a lot. I think Ness is the second worst character after Kirby. Debatable whether Fox or Falco should take the top since both of their top players, Mango and PPMD respectively, have both won some really big tournaments recently. I still think Fox should have the top spot due to his ability to win bigger national tournaments.

I don't really have much to say for the Brawl tier list, since the eighth backroom tier list looks good enough. There are some minor changes but none of them are that really significant noting to the metagame.

Super Smash Bros. 4 tier list

My own personal Smash 4 tier list would come soon.
