Head-On Assault (くい打ちヘッドバット, Piledriving Headbutt) is one of the three down special moves usable by Mii Brawlers.

Overview

The move acts similarly to Bowser's Bowser Bomb and Yoshi's Yoshi Bomb. On the ground, the Mii leaps diagonally upwards into the air, flips upside down and heads straight to the ground, landing on its head. The grounded version has an initial hitbox that leads into the main hit. In the air, the Mii will skip straight to flipping upside down and headbutting. The move can actually edge sweetspot if used while facing one, making it usable for edgeguarding.

The headbutt has the ability to bury opponents, similarly to Zero Suit Samus's Flip Jump, though its impact range is rather small. The attack also has heavy ending lag and deals low damage to shields, making it easily punishable. As such, the move is rarely used in competitive play, apart from hard punishes or setting up sacrificial KOs while having a stock lead.

Customization

Special Move customization was added in Super Smash Bros. 4. These are the variations:

1. Head-On Assault 2. Feint Jump 3. Foot Flurry
