The Aura Is With Me (波導は我にあり, Wave-Guiding Is With Me) is the 25th solo event match out of a total of 41 in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The player fights as Lucario and starts at 182% damage and must KO Ness and Sheik once. Once this event is completed, Spear Pillar, the stage this event takes place on, is unlocked.
Trivia
- This event starting Lucario at 182% damage led to a widespread misconception that 182% was the damage cap for Lucario's aura attacks. The cap has since been proven to be 170%, which then leads to the question of what significance the number 182% has - 182% is identical to 170% in terms of aura attacks, and no list from the Pokémon series has anything Lucario-relevant for item #182. An interesting note, however, is that 182 can be connected to the Missingno glitch from the first generation Pokemon games.
- While the Smash Bros DOJO!! and Lucario's trophy descriptions refer to Lucario as an "it," the description of the event refers to Lucario as "he".
- "The Aura is with me" is a phrase often repeated in Lucario's debut, the movie Lucario and the Mystery of Mew.
- In SSB4, a similar event called Aura Mastery features a similar feature of this event, however Lucario this time starts at 200% instead of 182%, everyone except him is invisible, and the player must fight Sheik, similar to this event. Ness, however, has been replaced with Wii Fit Trainer and everyone has 2 stocks.
