Blaziken is a fire/fighting Pokémon that resembles a humanoid bird. It first appeared in Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire and Pokémon Emerald.

Creature description

Blaziken is a red, very humanlike warrior with an avian face and plumage. The Pokédex states that its feathers burn off every several years, with new, supple feathers growing back in their place. It learns martial arts that use punches and kicks, and it has incredibly strong legs which could let it easily jump over a 30-story building in one leap. Flames spout from its wrists, enveloping its knuckles, and Blaziken blows out its flames from its wrists more intensely in proportion to how tough its foe is. It then proceeds to attack the foe courageously and let its flaming punches scorch the foe black.

Blaziken is a Generation III Pokémon, and is only available by picking Torchic as a starter in Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald, or by trading. It must then be evolved into a Combusken at level 16 and then into Blaziken at level 36. It is a Fighting and Fire type with excellent attack and special attack stats. Unfortunately, it average speed and low defenses lower its survivability considerably. However, it does have a Higher Attack and Sp. Attack and also A wider Movepool than a Pokémon similar to it, Infernape. In the 3rd Generation of Pokemon games it had 2 moves introduced that only Blaziken could learn, Blaze Kick and Sky Uppercut. However in the 4th Generation it wasn't the only Pokemon who could learn these moves

As a trophy

A Blaze Pokémon. When up against a tough opponent, it fights a spirited battle and shoots white-hot flames from its wrists. The stronger the foe, the more intense the flames from its wrists. Blaziken also uses a combination of punches and kicks to leave targets in scorched ruin, and its strong legs allow it easily to leap over 30-story buildings.
