Ron (ロン) is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Yoshi player from Tottori, Japan with several secondaries. Due to his location, he only makes seldom appearances offline, however he is considered one of the best Yoshi players in the world, ranking 37th on the LumiRank 2023. His best performance to date was placing 2nd at Sumabato SP Ultimate, where he placed 2nd after defeating Miya. In addition, he has notably defeated MkLeo at Battle of BC 6 and Shuton at Sumabato SP 6. Due to his strong performances in light of his limited attendance, he is often considered one of the strongest hidden bosses in Ultimate.
In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Ron was a Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi main, and is currently considered one of the best Mario players in the country (along with huto), as well as the best Luigi and Yoshi player in the country. Ron is currently ranked 31st on the JAPAN Power Rankings and 57th on the Panda Global Rankings 100, the highest player ranked on the PGR 100 who wasn't ranked on any previous iteration. He has taken sets off of players in Smash 4 such as Mr.R, komorikiri, Ranai, 9B, Shuton, Earth, HIKARU, and ikep.
As a result of his location, Ron spends most of his time playing Wi-Fi, and he consistently fluctuates between 1st and 3rd on Smashmate.
