Hello! I saw the message you sent me asking me to stop "spamming the Waluigi page, and I want to say. I apologize if you don't like the edits I made (or if me editing it annoys you) I edited it because I felt it was "unfinished" and that I just wanted to edited it a bit to make it more "finished". If you don't like a change(like, lets say.... There's too many images), tell me what I could do to make it better. Pappy Parappy (talk) 21:15, 11 November 2018 (EST)

A couple of pointers[edit]

Hello there! There's just a couple of rules I wanted to give you a heads up about:

  • Unless otherwise specified, don't edit other peoples' userpages. It's just bad form.
  • You can sign your talk page edits with ~~~~.

Have a nice day! Nyargleblargle.pngNyargleblargle (Contribs) 13:54, 24 October 2018 (EDT)

It's been 8 months since this message was left. Please do not edit other people's userpages. I appreciate you trying to help, but it's not appropriate for you to edit someone else's userspace without prior permission. Thanks. KungFuLakitu, Spiny Overlord 17:43, June 11, 2019 (EDT)

Your edit here here[edit]

Do not threaten users with a block unless you are an administrator. Please read SW:BTALK. Also, sign your comments with four tildes. SugarCookie420 (talk) 20:42, 12 November 2018 (EST)

Your edits on my sandboxes[edit]

Just a tip: I'd suggest you request me to add stuff to my own sandboxes instead of you adding them in yourself. I also suggest recommending me "edit requests" on the respective sandbox's talk page rather than my general user talk page. Thank you very much. SuperSmashTurtles (talk) 01:43, July 10, 2019 (EDT)

Minor releases[edit]

Hey! I made my own userpage for releases that would require us to update List of minor universes, so I would appreciate your help adding any others besides Shantae. TheNuttyOne 16:41, August 15, 2019 (EDT)

Account creation?[edit]

You seem very eager to edit SuperSmashTurtles's sandbox. Why don't you create an account and make your own user page/sanbox? You can do anything with it, although you still need to be autoconfirmed first, and after that you still need to focus on wiki stuff more since we're in Yellow status. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 21:23, August 31, 2019 (EDT)

Shadow the Hedgehog[edit]

Are you an admin hiding behind your IP address? Are you paid by Nintendo to harm Smash's best interests by campaigning against the inclusion of Shadow? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.67.133.161 (talkcontribs) 01:39, September 28, 2019 (EDT)

  • No, but you’re a vandal. 174.55.24.64 02:48, September 28, 2019 (EDT)
To the first IP: you are completely misusing the wiki for something that doesn't belong here. Do not go accusing other users, regardless of whether they have an account, of doing such things.
To the second IP: I fully realize that the first IP came to your talk page first, but please keep SW:QDV in mind.

Creating an account[edit]

I know I may seem a little repetitive since Cookies already asked this, but has it crossed your mind to make an account? I really feel like you could be a valuable contributor to this wiki. Awesomelink234, the Super Cool Gamer Leave a message if needed 22:30, October 2, 2019 (EDT)

Just so you know...[edit]

You are perfectly fine with starting minor non-wiki related conversations in the talk page, but don't do it excessively. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 20:31, October 4, 2019 (EDT)

Elevating this to an admin warning. This is not a social media website, please do not use it like one. If you want to have conversations with our contributors, I'd recommend our Discord server. SerpentKing 15:04, January 14, 2020 (EST)

Trivia[edit]

Some of your trivia edits, namely the ones to Mega Tourney! and List of spirits (Pokémon series), are completely irrelevant to Smash. Please have a read of our trivia policy before adding trivia to articles. Awesomelink234, the Super Cool Gamer Leave a message if needed 20:44, December 20, 2019 (EST)

Reminder of this. This is irrelevant to Smash as he has no voice in the games. Plus the level of canonity (if that's a real word) of the Pokemon anime has always been questionable, and generally as a result we avoid treating the Pokemon anime as canon (such as considering Giygas er, correction... Mewtwo a villian). Please avoid making Pokemon connections relating to the anime without discussing it first, thank you. Image for my signiture icon. Your recent talk page behavior[edit]

I don't take requests, at all. Not only is constantly begging someone to do what you want very disrespectful to the person in question, it's also a very easy way to get into trouble with said person. (If my statement is too close to becoming a personal attack, then I do apologize in advance)

You've been warned a few times as shown above, so I suggest you start following what these users have said. SmashTurtlesSig1.pngSuperSmashTurtles of the Turtle TribeSmashTurtlesSig2.png 18:30, March 27, 2020 (EDT)

I only said that about ARMS because when you talk about Corrin, it mentions no ARMS character in SSBU still. 174.55.24.64 18:40, March 27, 2020 (EDT)

I believe you should read SW:TALK. In a nutshell SmashWiki is not a personal messaging site or a social network. User talk pages' primary usage is to discuss a user's edits and contributions to the wiki. From what I can see you post a lot of messages to SuperSmashTurtles suggesting ideas or questions about his sandboxes, or talking about off wiki business. SmashWiki is not for off-wiki business.

I should also mention that while it's nice to see you like his sandboxes, you need to also know we're not a personal profile. We also discourage users from editing their userspace excessivly without contributing to the mainspace, especially if the wiki status is high. You can suggest ideas but don't do it excessively.

You also have the option to create your own account and make your own sandboxes, but keep in mind that you must also make contributions to the mainspace as well. Image for my signiture icon. OmegαToαd the Toαd Wαrrior (BUP) 20:08, March 27, 2020 (EDT)

Yeah, this has been especially troublesome. This is a common habit I know you have (I remember you being in my userspaces as well), and it needs to stop. This is a wiki, not a social networking site. If you wish to socialize with us, we have a Discord server for that. Since it's becoming a problem that I'm now beginning to see complaints about, this will be an official warning for you. If this behavior doesn't cease, I will be temporarily blocking you from editing the wiki. Once again, this is not a social network. We have a Discord server specifically for this kind of thing. Disaster Flare My signature image for the default signature. Duplicate of Lucina's life white stock head. (talk) 20:53, March 27, 2020 (EDT)

I'd also like bring attention to these: [1] [2]
Now, I'm not making any assumptions (and I do apologize if this does come off as a personal attack), but the fact that you brought my name into these situations, in addition to your constant requests to other users for various projects (mostly with personal sandboxes), might give people the wrong impression on how you treat other users, so I say it's probably best not to bring up anyone in particular situations like these. Again, I do apologize if it sounds like I'm bashing you too harshly. SmashTurtlesSig1.pngSuperSmashTurtles of the Turtle TribeSmashTurtlesSig2.png 22:47, March 29, 2020 (EDT)

Editing other users' userpages.[edit]

Unless the owner of the page have given you permission before do not edit their page. I have seen complaints about you editing other peoples' userpages without their permission, including messing up their formating as seen here.

I even saw you in one of my userpages before. While I'll let it slide this time since it was fixing an error, but next time please ask me first if you want to edit a page of mine.

Again if you would like to add stuff to sandboxes I suggest you create an account and make your own. Thank you. Image for my signiture icon. OmegαToαd the Toαd Wαrrior (BUP) 00:10, March 31, 2020 (EDT)

In the list of tips (SSBU) page, it mentions that South Park (not Sans) reference for Toon Link’s down air. So yeah, Cartman confirmed (translates to “South Park reference” confirmed) 174.55.24.64 00:36, April 24, 2020 (EDT)
South Park did not invent "you're gonna have a bad time". Plus because that show has a highly mature sense of humor Nintendo would more than likely not reference that. It's just a coincidence. Image for my signiture icon. OmegαToαd64the Best Kαrter 00:39, April 24, 2020 (EDT)

Your recent talk page discussion[edit]

I've said this before and I'll say it again: I don't take requests or suggestions. You've already been told this before, so please follow directions next time.

Additionally, I've seen you suggest a spirit idea that you've also suggested to Miles. If you REALLY wanna see your spirit battle ideas come to fruition, why not make an account? You have been suggested the idea multiple times before, so what's stopping you from doing it? SmashTurtlesSig1.pngSuperSmashTurtles of the Turtle TribeSmashTurtlesSig2.png 21:00, May 1, 2020 (EDT)

I feel like you  should read this again. You were told not do do this before, an admin even gave you a warning, but you've continued to do this. We're not a personal profile. SmashWiki is an encyclopidia, not a personal sandbox. While there's nothing wrong with having a sandbox, users are also expected to contribute to the mainspace rather than messing with their userpages all the time.

Please pay attention to what we're telling you. I've seen you continue to do this after recieving several warnings. Image for my signiture icon. OmegαToαd64the Best Kαrter 21:24, May 1, 2020

Apology[edit]

Don’t block me, I am under a different account but I won’t harass anybody ever again on SmashWiki due to my eternal new leaf and I’ll get an account next year but still be unamed this year. Please forgive me.  174.198.21.123 21:58, May 1, 2020 (EDT)

Nothing is stopping you from making an account soon but please wait until after your block is over. Asking for your block to be reduced will only make things worse. Finally Do not use multiple accounts especially to evade a block. Image for my signiture icon. OmegαToαd64the Best Kαrter 22:03, May 1, 2020 (EDT)

Regarding this[edit]

Policy.png Reminder: Do not vandalise/make joke edits to pages.

While we normally do not confront people who do this, I feel it necessary to remind you of this, given that you have a good-faith history. Please do not make joke edits again. Thank you. Black Vulpine of the 🦊Furry Nation🐺. Furries make the internets go! :3 21:35, July 17, 2020 (EDT)

To be fair, based on this user's edit history, I believe the edit itself (describing criticism to the Mario Kart and Paper Mario series) was intended as serious even though the edit summary was a joke, with previous edits following a similar format of "joke edit summaries". --PeabodySam (talk) 22:08, July 17, 2020 (EDT)
I figured it was in good faith and the reason why I undid it (which I should have mentioned in a summary) was that it felt out of place to mention specific fan criticisms for a non-Smash game on a Smash wiki. --CanvasK (talk) 22:20, July 17, 2020 (EDT)
Gonna have to agree with Sam and Canvas here. I (and a few other users as well) have made several serious edits with jokey summaries (I'll admit there are a few I felt might've gone a little too far, but let's not shift our focus). The only other real issue here is whether the fan criticisms actually belong or not. SmashTurtlesSig1.pngSuperSmashTurtles of the Turtle TribeSmashTurtlesSig2.png 22:59, July 17, 2020 (EDT)

Reguardless on whether it was made in good faith, one point I should mention is that we don't mention fan criticism outside of minor mentions unless it's directly related to Smadh Bros. While I don't believe this is related to SmashWiki is not fanon, if it's something whether positive or negative that's fan made opinions we don't give them specific and detailed mentions, for example we removed the competitive reception for Pokemon characters from their pages because we decided they were irrelevant to Smash Bros.

Small mentions like modern Paper Mario's criticism being due to lack of story and exploration are fine, but going into deep detail is something we generally don't do. Omegα Toαd For my signature. 22:40, July 17, 2020 (EDT)

A tidbit regarding discussion titles[edit]

I highly recommend you avoid making discussion titles literally the first word of the discussion you're making. Using stuff like "Why" or "How" as the discussion title gives absolutely no indicator whatsoever of what the discussion is supposed to be about.

To give out an example, I'll be using the discussion you put on my talk page regarding Pikachu's popularity on Disaster Flare's sandbox. Rather than using "Why", a much better title would've been something like "Pikachu's popularity" or anything related to the discussion.

Hope this helps. SmashTurtlesSig1.pngSuperSmashTurtles of the Turtle TribeSmashTurtlesSig2.png 21:23, August 15, 2020 (EDT)

At least I don’t make joke edits about Toad OCs in paper Mario anymore. 174.55.24.64 22:21, August 15, 2020 (EDT)

This edit[edit]

In the future, please do not make edits like these. If you think something should be added, then add it. If you really want someone to update it, post a comment on the talk page, not on the page itself. Awesomelink234, the Super Cool Gamer (talk) 14:23, September 3, 2020 (EDT)

A reminder about...reminders[edit]

Next time, if you wanna add some text to remind editors not to add a specific piece of trivia or what-have-you, it's highly preferable to hide said reminder rather than make it publicly readable. If you wanna know how to hide text, this is how you do it:

First, enter the text you want to put in. After that, type in <!-- before the first word in the text, then type in --> after the last word. It should look something like this:

<!--You can't hide from me! Mwa ha ha!-->

Hope this helps. SmashTurtlesSig1.pngSuperSmashTurtles of the Turtle TribeSmashTurtlesSig2.png 00:49, September 5, 2020 (EDT)

Userspace editing[edit]

Policy.png Reminder: Over-editing of the user- and forum-spaces may result in your probation. Consider using the preview button to prevent editing these pages multiple times in a row.

It seems you’ve been spending a lot of time in user sandboxes lately, particularly in Miles’ upcoming appearances page, which despite the page’s appearance is not actually a draft intended for the mainspace. Given the current wiki status, it would be good if you could spend more time in the mainspace of the wiki than you have been lately. Thanks! Black Vulpine of the 🦊Furry Nation🐺. Furries make the internets go! :3 20:08, September 11, 2020 (EDT)

Feeling the need to remind you about this. Keep in mind what SmashWiki is not, please. Black Vulpine of the 🦊Furry Nation🐺. Furries make the internets go! :3 20:31, October 15, 2020 (EDT)

Your recent edits[edit]

Hey, many of your recent edits are either unnecessary or just irrelevant. A few examples:

  • Trivia that you add often go against our trivia guidelines. For example, this trivia just states the obvious, this trivia is both incorrect and plain uninteresting, and most of these points either overcomplicate a simple point or make a complicated point that isn't interesting at all. I recommend you read the linked guidelines to know what trivia is allowed in these sections.
  • This edit is completely irrelevant to the Smasher page. No one on SmashWiki is looking up "Espeon" to search up the Pokémon. Also, redirects to other pages of the same name should never be in the body paragraph.
  • Notes like these should not be noted like that, even if you don't know how to do hidden tags (Which is <!-- (note) -->, but don't overuse use it in areas where it's not needed). Notes like these serve as maintenance and should not actually be seen on the page.

You seem incredibly eager to make edits on the wiki, yet the vast majority of them end up getting reverted. I recommend you take a step back and think about whether your edits are relevant before adding them, lest this pattern continues. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 18:16, June 5, 2022 (EDT)

Im only just glad that I’m doing edits here again, but I won’t edit that much anymore unless it’s important. Some people might think Espeon was in smash before, so that’s why I made that edit. Apparently, Smashwiki can’t reference scarlet and violet until smash references it which might be in the next game. I’m sorry for the Seel controversy from before also, probably because the amount of people that search for Seel on Smashwiki are the same as the ones that search for the Pokémon Espeon. Also, with the obvious edit, I forgot that octolings turn into octopi also. I read and know the Smashwiki guidelines and I don’t make vandal edits. 174.55.24.64 19:53, June 5, 2022 (EDT)

I'm going to be very blunt, it's been over a month and quite frankly nothing has changed. Almost every time you've made an edit, it gets reverted due to the same issues: repetitiveness, redundancy, or uninteresting. It's very possible you're still learning what belongs in these sections, but this pattern has continued for a while now and it's starting to get rather monotonous. I advise you to not add anything that first comes into your mind, but to think whether the addition is actually necessary or interesting. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 15:01, July 16, 2022 (EDT)

Additionally, I feel your contributions to talk pages aren't much better, and I'll use some of your more recent talk page posts as examples (mostly my and CanvasK's talk pages since you've made a flood of discussions on both of them):
  • "Disaster Flare": This really didn't need to be on my talk page specifically. You already realized what had happened with Amber Blackstar, yet you decided to take your musings to the talk page of a random user who has little to no involvement in the situation when it could've just been a reply to that talk page post you made.
  • "Blocked forever": You are asking a regular user to do something only an admin can do, and even then, I don't know if they can solve the problem since your issue was a general MediaWiki one. If you need to ask the admins about something, you can find a list here.
  • "Shellder in Smash (CanvasK's talk page)" and "Shellder (My talk page)": These two posts could've just been made on the "List of Pokémon" article's talk page, and since you actually did make a talk page discussion there bringing up the appearance of Shellder in Smash, you could've just bumped that discussion rather than pester other users about it (which in all fairness you did do, but please keep what I just said before in mind).
  • "Two 174s": As CanvasK stated here, there are over 16,000,000 potential IP addresses that start with 174, so no one is initially going to confuse you with another IP.
  • "Seel the Seal": As I've stated here, it is not advisable to bring an argument from one user's talk page to another user's, especially one that had nothing to do with the situation in hand.
  • "Redrict suggestion (CanvasK's talk page)" and "Pokemon redricts (my talk page)": If users want to make a redirect or not, then it's their choice and we don't need to be pestered by others to make them.
  • "Grimer": You asked a question about something that, as I've stated here, I was not even aware about. You didn't really need to make a talk page post about it in the first place; All you could've done is just tag that redirect for speedy deletion and nothing else. To do so, you type this {{d|*insert reason for deletion here*}} and put it at the top of the page.
  • "Voice Vandalism": You could've easily had taken the time to figure out on your own as to why the "List of voice actors" was going through such a messy edit history by checking the page's edit history here.
  • "174": I've already explained everything I needed to here, so moving on.
  • "Yousei sockpuppet": This is another talk page post that could've been brought up on an admin's talk page rather than a regular user's. (Admittedly I did have to ask an admin on Discord to confirm if this is allowed, but IPs can't edit the Admin's Noticeboard and I know you don't have a Discord, so I have no idea what else you could've done).
Other than those, you also seem to have a habit of constantly bringing up reverts to your edits on these talk pages and giving out reasons why your edits are valid. If someone has reverted your edits, then please read their edit summaries as to why they removed them and give it a good thought as to whether or not it's something that should be worth arguing about.
Overall, I feel the vast majority of your talk page edits do not need to be made and serve nothing more than to constantly bloat a user's talk page. Next time, if you're going to make a discussion on a user's talk page, then actually take the time to think if your posts are actually helpful or not, avoid requesting users to do stuff that you can easily add/fix yourself, and just be patient and don't pester other users to do some stuff that's missing. Thank you. JacketTerraSig1.pngThe Jacketed TerrapinJacketTerraSig2.png 17:28, July 16, 2022 (EDT)
My only edits that stay are the event edits where I say if an event is currently running or over since there isn’t any big SSB news anymore, and I would’ve mentioned the Yousei sockpuppet on the Administrator’s noticeboard, but I don’t have an account yet, and it still isn’t reported on there yet. I also thought this user had a inappropriate name, but swearing is allowed for some wiki pages and usernames, like his. 174.55.24.64 19:20, July 16, 2022 (EDT)
While we're on that topic, if you think a username is inappropriate you should notify an admin, as they're usually the ones who decide whether a username is fine or not. If you address the user themselves, it would cause confusion especially if there isn't actually anything wrong with the username, which is what happened with Pingas. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 20:01, July 16, 2022 (EDT)

Some stuff about this message[edit]

Firstly, when giving support, you must put a # next to your message so it shows as a number, making it easier to count the number of supports and opposes. Secondly, the user that posted that Japanese message on Jacketed Terrapin's talk page doesn't really have anything to do with that suggestion, so you don't need to bring it up there. Awesomelink234, the Super Cool 🦊Furry🦊 Gamer (talk) 12:29, June 10, 2022 (EDT)

Coming back to this, I see that you did previously correctly do a support (with not only the #, but bolding your support as well), so were you perhaps trying to add a comment? If so, then should go in Comments, not Support. Awesomelink234, the Super Cool 🦊Furry🦊 Gamer (talk) 12:40, June 10, 2022 (EDT)

Linking stuff[edit]

Hi, in order to avoid making a red link like what you did here, I suggest you check to see if the link actually leads to somewhere, and if it does, click on it to be absolutely sure it leads to the correct page.

If you're having trouble with certain link templates (such as "uv" or "SSBMusicLink"), try looking elsewhere on the page or another page to see if it has the one you're looking for. JacketTerraSig1.pngThe Jacketed TerrapinJacketTerraSig2.png 02:53, June 20, 2022 (EDT)

Your block[edit]

When we tell you not to do something, don't do it. You've been blocked before, and have countless talk page messages warning you, like you have been told before to not harass users here over offwiki matters. When your block is up, any subsequent violation will result in an immediate block of equivalent length or more. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 06:13, August 11, 2022 (EDT)

An icon used in notice templates. This is an IP's talk page. While it's not a requirement to have a username, those that do not can only be recognized by their IP address, which can change over time and/or be assigned to an unrelated user; they can even be shared by multiple users. If this talk page belongs to your IP but its comments are intended for someone else, you may want to login or create an account to eliminate future confusion.
