Bomb-fest is the 3rd event match of the 51 event matches in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

The player controls a fighter of their choice and must win a 1 stock match against a team consisting of a CPU red Link and a CPU pink Samus on the Princess Peach's Castle stage. The event match features no time limit. The CPU Link's artificial intelligence is set at Level 4 while the CPU Samus's artificial intelligence is set at Level 5.

When the match starts, the player's fighter spawns on the leftmost green platform while Samus spawns on the left side of the main platform and Link spawns on the rightmost green platform. As the name implies, this event match features a large number of explosive elements. Link's Bombs and Samus's Bombs are frequently used by CPUs. The selection of items is limited to Bob-ombs, Motion-Sensor Bombs, and Poké Balls that only release Electrode. Banzai Bills also appear as a stage hazard.

Clearing this event match will reward the player with the Motion-Sensor Bomb trophy.
