Trivia[edit]

  • This event match's number is the same number as Jigglypuff's number in the National Dex in the Pokémon games: #039.
  • This event match features an Easter egg called "Sleepy Time". If one Jigglypuff uses Sing on this stage while the screen in the background of Pokémon Stadium is focused around it, all three of the other Jigglypuff on the ground will fall asleep even if they are not close to the user, and for much longer than they usually would.
  • This is the only event match in Melee that has a character from the Pokémon universe as an assigned character.
