Event 17: Bounty Hunters is the seventeenth event match in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
In Bounty Hunters, the battle is set in Jungle Japes; the player Samus, must KO Bowser before Captain Falcon does or before Bowser self-destructs. Captain Falcon is on the player's team, so the player cannot KO him. It is possible to allow Bowser to KO Captain Falcon in order to attack without interference, as the event does not end in failure when Falcon is defeated and the resulting damage makes Bowser easier to finish off, but this runs the risk of Falcon taking out Bowser.
Trivia
- During the battle, the music for Mute City plays instead of this stage's theme.
