yonni is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Steve player from Texas. He was one of the earliest successful Steve players in competitive play and was a prominent labber in the early years of the post-pandemic metagame. He first broke out onto the national scene after defeating Dabuz at Riptide and eventually became known for his results in the first half of 2022, including his run at The Gimvitational, where he defeated Tweek, Gackt, and Riddles, and defeating several other of North America's best players during this time, including both Cosmos and Zomba at MomoCon 2022 and Maister at GENESIS 8. These results led him to rank top 50 on the OrionRank Mid-Year 2022, though he ultimately ended up at 69th on the full-year ranking. He later announced his retirement after Let's Make Big Moves 2023 but has competed at several events since. In addition, he remains active as a streamer.
