Peli, formerly known as Peligod, is a Sonic player with a King Dedede secondary from Hertford, England, considered the second best player in the country after Scr7. He is considered to be the best King Dedede player in Europe, as well as the second best King Dedede player in the world behind ZAKI, but he has since relegated the character as a counterpick. He has wins over players such as T, Larry Lurr, Meru, Lancelot, iStudying, Tomberry and Antheia. Peli is currently ranked 2nd in the United Kingdom Power Rankings and 23rd on the European Smash Rankings.

In SSB4, Peli was a Sonic main who also used King Dedede as a secondary. He had wins over players like Fatality, Locus, Ixis, TLTC, ho, Afro Smash, Matsu, and Destany. He is currently ranked 6th on the England Power Rankings and 33rd on the European Smash 4 Power Rankings.

On October 21st, 2020, Peli was dropped by London Esports after they discontinued their Super Smash Bros. division.[1]

  • Peli is also a notable supporter of Jet Hammer, stating it is one of Dedede’s best moves[2] due to covering most ledge options upon reaction except jump.
  • Since patch 3.0.0 of Ultimate, which nerfed the Gordos’s shield damage, Peli’s attempts to main other top-tier characters than King Dedede has become a meme. Although he earns acceptable results from top-tiers, his King Dedede has been far more consistent in his gameplay, resulting in players quipping he will inevitably return to his main soon.
