SSB 64

James Heart has exceptionally little experience with this game. He played it at a hotel as part of a sixty-minute trial. James tried Classic mode with Link but failed in the middle. He then used a lightweight character and got to Metal Mario before his trial ended.

SSB Melee

James owns a copy of this game. He has beaten Classic Mode and Adventure Mode with all characters and All-Star Mode with almost every character. He has one more event to go before unlocking Event 51.

He usually plays Bonus Mode. His favorite stages are Dream Land, Yoshi's Island, and Kongo Jungle.

SSB Brawl

James also owns a copy of this game, mainly playing With Anyone. His current preference of controller is the GameCube controller, though he hopes to get a Classic Controller soon.

James enjoys creating stages in Stage Builder. His favorite is a recreation of the final boss stage in the Game Boy version of Donkey Kong. But since his copy of that game is currently missing, he doesn't know if his level is exactly correct. Normal stages he likes are Smashville, Yoshi's Island, and New Pork City.

When a balloon appears in Smashville, IT NEEDS TO BE POPPED!

SSB 4

James will most likely get the 3DS version as a digital download and the Wii U version as a physical copy, similar to how...that other game would do it.

There are numerous characters James would like to see in this game. However, the main change he would like to see is the option to use a Final Smash with Samus that doesn't cause her to transform. Different outfits giving different Final Smashes, an idea brought up in the Fiery Joker's SSB4 rant (specifically part 2), would cover this.

Thoughts so far (character/stage-wise): James will most likely, predictably, start out maining Samus and Toon Link but will also try out Mega Man and the Villager. In terms of stages, he feels the Kid Icarus stage is the only one that really sticks out on the 3DS version, though this could just be because he's been following Chuggaaconroy's Uprising LP. Stages in the Wii U version that look good are Dr. Wily's Castle and Pyrosphere, though both of these could be ruined by potential stage hazards that just need to be bosses or playable characters (James has put away his disapproval of Ridley being playable if it means saving that stage).

Other games

Metroid Prime (Echoes is James's favorite, though he also likes Prime and Corruption);

Paper Mario (as well as the other games in the series)

Mario Party 5 (James loved this game long before playing Paper Mario, making saving the Star Spirits all the more rewarding)

Super Mario Galaxy

Super Mario World (Game Boy Advance)

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (James gave this game a shot almost immediately after saying he didn't play LoZ on the Smash Arena, and loved it)

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

Pokémon (Pecking order: Gold, Gale of Darkness, Emerald, FireRed, Colosseum)

Mother 3

F-Zero GX

Various third-party games. (Kingdom Hearts, Spyro, etc.)
