* Best-of-3 double elimination, 2 stocks 7 minutes.
* Both customization and all {{SSB4|Mii Fighter}}s were banned.
* Only [[Ω form]] stages were allowed. In addition, the Ω forms of [[Golden Plains]], [[WarioWare, Inc.]], [[Balloon Fight]], [[Dream Land GB]], [[PictoChat]], [[Flat Zone 2]], and [[Pac-Maze]] were banned.
** There was no [[stage striking]] or counterpick stage banning; the player selecting a stage could choose any legal stage.
* If a game ended with tied stocks and percent, the player who dealt the most damage throughout the game won. If it was still tied, a 1-stock rematch was played on the same stage.
