Overview[edit]
Piranha Plant gets up, swinging its pot slowly from front to back. As with all trip attacks, it is very slow and only has 7 frames of intangibility at the start, requiring specific timing to pass through moves and get the punish from it. It also possesses deceptively low range on its first hit. It is generally better to try roll away instead of using the attack, since it is very slow and poorly ranged, allowing for easy punishes against it.
