Event Match 13: Yoshi's Egg is an event match available in Event Mode in Super Smash Bros. Melee. The character that is used is Yoshi. There is a unique item on this event called Yoshi's Egg, however the opponents will try to attack him. Yoshi assumes the role of the Egg's protector, having to defend it from the other characters. The Egg can be attacked by any character (including Yoshi), and will break if attacked too much. If this happens, then the match ends in a loss. The Event will also end in defeat if the Egg passes through a Blast Line other than the top one. Yoshi can swallow the Egg to protect it. If the player manages to keep the Egg "alive" for over 55 seconds, then they win the event.
