The match starts off with the player fighting Zelda, and she can be attacked without penalty. After fifteen seconds, Mewtwo appears and teams with Zelda to fight the player, and KOing it results in success. However, if Zelda is KO'd at any time, the match ends in failure.

- This event possibly references the movie Mewtwo Strikes Back where Mewtwo makes Nurse Joy ("portrayed" by Zelda, whose characteristics are similar) his mind-controlled servant.
