I heard the reason towards Ike's popularity is that 1)He's the "pretty boy fighter"2)Final Smash is quite intense 3) A well known character in Fire Elbem and finally, the fact that he is strangely seen as the only heroic character in Brawl. Hey um for the vote at the bottom for aura storm, I guess maybe I live in an area full of bad players as I won the last local tournament, but I dont know one person that can play well enough as Lucario to beat me, even as Zero Suit Samus, and I normally play as Pit. Can someone explain?
