—Description from Ultimate's Move List |
Power Dunk (パワーダンク, Power Dunk) is Terry's down special move.
Overview
Terry leaps into the air, taking the opponent with him, before performing a diving punch and landing on the ground. The move sends diagonally outwards at a harsh angle. Has a weak and strong variation depending on how long the button is held.
Input Power Dunk
If the player performs the move's original input (→↓↘ A/B, or the "Shoryuken command" as mentioned by Masahiro Sakurai), Terry will hit multiple times upon rising. The strong variation will meteor smash at the end of the move, with the sweetspot being the center of Terry's fist.
Origin
Power Dunk is a move in Terry's repertoire that first appeared in Fatal Fury 3, that was introduced as a reference to his love of basketball and slam dunks.
