Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome, editors and users, to the Smash Arena! Each week this forum hosts a tussle between two characters from the Super Smash Bros. series! The winner gets, well, nothing. It's more of a poll but functionally, this is a popularity contest. You may vote for your favorite or who you think would win in an competition between the two combatants that round. No, you don't have to vote for the character with strength & power, just vote if you are a total fanboy of the character. So what are you waiting for? Get voting! Remember, you can remain anonymous! If you have any requests for future fights, please feel free to leave a message here.

The Rules

  1. When voting, you can give a brief comment on why you voted the way you did, or you can just leave your signature.
  2. You can only vote once. Any multiple votes will be removed.
  3. Put a # before your vote to facilitate the vote counting.
  4. Type ~~~~ after your vote to sign it, whether you are logged in or not.
  5. There is a line in each section consisting of "DO NOT ADD COMMENTS OR EDIT ANYTHING BELOW THIS LINE". You are to do so; do not just type your vote at the bottom of the editing window. Not following this rule results in your vote being displayed in the wrong place.
  6. Put your vote below other votes; that is, so the votes are in chronological order.
  7. Any comments about the fight should be left in the comment section. It is recommended that you do not post argumentative, accusative, or any sort of comment with the intention of starting an argument with someone on the opposing side. The Smash Arena is a popularity contest, there's no need to argue with the other side on why your choice is superior, or why they are wrong with their reasoning for picking their choice.
  8. You may only vote in the current fight; all previous fights are closed.
  9. Do not leave a space between your comment and the ones above it (and/or below it).
  10. Do not put your vote in the Half-Votes section. It is not where anonymous users vote, nor is it acceptable to want your vote to be worth half. It is basically saying "I want to be punished", and you will be treated accordingly.

If your vote is not added correctly - that is, it breaks rules 3, 4, or 5 - you have one hour to fix it. After this time, it may be moved by any user to the Half-Votes section (adding the unsigned template if necessary), and it will count as half a vote. Attempting to move your vote out of the Half-Votes section may result in it being worth zero at an operator's discretion. In addition, if your votes-to-rulebreaks ratio climbs too high, your votes may count for zero until the ratio drops to an acceptable level.

The racetrack of the F-Zero circuits are pretty unforgiving to those who drive on them, so how bad will they be for those who fight on them? These two crazy looped and swooped messes of metal are now here in the Arena, ready for one of them to be voted better than the other.

  3. I like this stage more, its aesthetics were more pleasing, and the stage hazards in Mute City are easier to avoid, much less powerful, and overall, less disruptive. I honestly can't choose.

Mute City:

  • Awesome music
  • Less suicidal
  • Safer and more controlled in general
  • You can RACE on it, at least in the single player modes
  • It's from Melee. Falcon's way better in this game.

But PTAD:

  • Insanity at every stop
  • More killing opportunities
  • Excellent Falcon ditto stage
  • Constant dying and risk taking
  • Awesome music

I don't guess you should be thankful, but this round pits the two best pilots of the Star Fox team against each other. While Fox is the definite head of the group, Falco is in many ways the more popular of the two. Which of them wins their latest battle of hits and wits?
