Event Match 9: Hide 'n' Sheik is the 9th event match of the 51 event matches in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

The player controls a fighter of their choice and must win a 1 stock match against two CPU Zeldas/Sheiks on the Great Bay stage. The event match features no time limit. The CPU Zelda/Sheik's artificial intelligence is set at Level 5.

When the match starts, the player will spawn on the let side of the main platform, while the two Zeldas spawn on the Turtle. The CPU Zelda will use the EVZELDA CPU mode, which will allow her to use Transform often and become Sheik. The player must KO Sheik, which will eliminate her permanently while, while KOing a Zelda will only cause her to respawn.
