Dr. Mario performs a one-legged sweep kick. It is used similarly to {{SSB4|Mario}}'s down tilt, as a combo tool into itself, jab, up tilt or aerials and as a punish tool for ledge hangs or 2-framing. It deals more damage than Mario's, with 0.6% more on the sourspot (tip of the foot), and 0.84% more on the sweetspot (the thigh). Since it retains its very weak kill power, the move is slightly worse for combos due to the increased damage. Dr. Mario's forward aerial however allows down tilt to be a decent 50/50 kill setup, where reading an airdodge can net a kill, due to forward aerial's horizontal kill power. | |||
