SWT: South America Ultimate Regional Finals was the first Super Smash Bros. Ultimate final for Phase Two of the Smash World Tour 2021. Due to the current situation of South America, the tournament was held online.[1] The sixteen players who qualified through the SWT: South America Ultimate Online Qualifier were invited to this tournament. The winner qualifed for the Smash World Tour 2021 Finale.
A Melee event was also planned, but it was ultimately cancelled due to the aforementioned situation. Instead, Chape and HP were chosen as the South American Melee finalists.

Pre-recorded sets accusation
As VGBootCamp was streaming the tournament, a Twitter account leaked an image that showed all the tournament sets pre-recorded on Shared Content.[2]. Minutes later, Smasher Belipe accused VGBootCamp for holding the tournament a day prior but broadcasting it the next day, using this image as proof.[3] Following the posts, an image of the completed bracket was also leaked.[4] Additionally, players on the livestream only showed fighter names instead of nametags, which are indicative of replays.
