Nintendo Music

Nintendo Music is a music streaming service developed by Nintendo. It was published for mobile phones on the App Store and Google Play on October 30, 2024, with support for computers via a web app, tablets, and cars with a dashboard running Android Auto and CarPlay later added on June 1, 2026. It allows users to play music from a variety of Nintendo games with additional soundtracks, typically added on a weekly basis for old titles or a sample of a newly announced title. It features curated playlists based on specific characters and themes, with users also able to create and share their own playlists. The service also features options to filter music from certain games in order to avoid spoilers, and a feature to extend the play time of some tracks from 5 minutes to 1 hour. The service is available exclusively to subscribers of the Nintendo Switch Online service.

Since its release, there have been no soundtracks released for the Super Smash Bros. franchise. However, multiple soundtracks that were sourced to the aforementioned series were released under their respective playlist, with some of them receiving for the first time official titles or have their former title renamed. noisycroak, the company that also contributed in the Super Smash Bros. series including Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's main theme, "Lifelight", are responsible for remastering some of these soundtracks.

Trivia

• As of now, Kirby is the only franchise to feature arrangements from the Super Smash Bros. series on Nintendo Music, with "King Dedede's Theme (Brawl)", "Meta Knight's Revenge", "City Trial", and "The Legendary Air Ride Machine" being featured in Kirby Air Riders' playlist.
• Excluding Super Smash Bros. and third-party franchises, EarthBound, Game & Watch, Punch-Out!!, Xenoblade Chronicles, and ARMS are the only primary universes to not be represented on Nintendo Music.
