Yup, it's on. Hi, it's me, Mario Maniac. As my username may suggest, I'm a big fan of the Super Mario franchise. I'd say I'm a big fan of it. There are some other franchises I'm a big fan of, such as Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Kirby, Sonic the Hedgehog, PAC-MAN, and Minecraft, just to name a few.

For some weird reason, I'm halfway devoted to Nintendo games and consoles, and so, a lot of my favorite games come from Nintendo. That being said, the only console NOT produced by Nintendo that I've actually played a game on was a Sega Genesis. I played the original Sonic the Hedgehog on it at an arcade in Missouri.

My first Super Smash Bros. game was Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I only really play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, though. I absolutely SUCK at Brawl, though, mainly because I didn't know the controls and I was playing on a Wii Remote (which isn't exactly the ideal controller for Brawl, and by extension, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U). I'd probably be better at it, now that I know the controls for Smash games in general. I'd pretty much have to use a GameCube controller for Brawl, due to it being a more traditional controller, and the fact that I'm used to more traditional controllers. However, I actually don't OWN a copy of Brawl, as I played it on a teacher's Wii. However, for Ultimate, I got into playing the game because of a school eSports team, and I actually own a copy of it.

I don't really do anything big when I do edit the wiki; I usually just fix grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors present on the wiki pages or add a small amount of content here and there, but I am active most of the time, even if my constructive edits to the wiki mainly consist of minor edits. I joined this wiki because I felt that I needed to give back to the community. That's the entire reason I'm here. Yup, just to give back to the community. And I also like Smash. Overall, my first edit to a wiki page ever was on the Bloons Wiki on Fandom. I was just an anon back then, and I lacked the wikiskill I have now.

I prefer family-friendly content over anything else. For genres in particular, I prefer platformers (both 2D and 3D), fighting games, (specifically platform fighters like Smash), the occasional puzzle game, RPGs (specifically turn-based ones), and tower defense games.

Playstyle

Mario

With one of my mains, Mario, I try to be very unpredictable and not spam the same attack 45,000 times in a row. Fireball is a spammable projectile that I use to rack up damage, and if another player tries to send my fireballs back at me, I can reflect it back at them with Cape. I may combo from one of Mario’s throws into an aerial, such as up throw into down air. I can edgeguard effectively because I have F.L.U.D.D. which doesn’t cause flinching so it doesn’t give opponents their recovery move back. Forward air, Meteor Knuckle, is used to send them plummeting down into the abyss if it connects. Also, watch out, you may get repeatedly bicycle kicked and then KO'd off the upper blast line with a Super Jump Punch.

Sora

With my other main, Sora, I try to be as unpredictable as possible. I do have a spammable projectile, Firaga, and, like with Mario’s Fireball, I mainly use it for racking up damage before I launch opponents away with a smash attack. Since my jab, side tilt, neutral air, and forward air are all natural combos, those are mainly damage racking-up options. I could in theory use his zero-to-death to take stocks super early, but I prefer my method better.

Aegis

I don’t play Aegis as much as Mario or Sora, which means they’re a secondary. With the Aegis, I use Mythra to rack up damage and then I Swap to Pyra and then KO the opponent with Flare Smash. Then I either stay Pyra or swap back to Mythra and repeat the process. In the event that I do stay as Pyra, I usually employ similar tactics to Mythra, but altered slightly because Pyra’s slightly different than Mythra.

Steve

Similarly with Aegis, I have another OP pocket that I rarely use. I play Steve every once in a while, but not too often. I end up distancing myself from opponents, usually just to get some resources, and then have full diamond tools and then just wallop them. I also may use my down tilt as a pseudo-PK Fire.

Kirby

A less overpowered pocket, but still a pocket nonetheless. With Kirby, I carefully watch the opponent, and then give them the hammer when the time is right. I may also suck them up and get their ability, and use their neutral special against them.

Everyone else

I don’t resort to spamming for everyone else in the roster, I skim through their strengths and weaknesses, and use them accordingly. This is how I can choose random and potentially win.

• I love random trivia. I don't know why, I just do.
• I want some interesting characters for the next Smash game. Just look below:
  • My most wanted first-party or second-party fighter for the next Smash game is Toad. I've made a moveset for him, but I doubt he'd be this cloned from Mario. Toadette would be his Echo Fighter.
    • I also want Bandana Waddle Dee in Smash. He'd have no Echo Fighter, but nobody from the Kirby series has an Echo Fighter (or any type of clone for that matter), so I don't think it'd matter that he lacks an Echo.
  • My most wanted third-party fighter for the next Smash game is Crash Bandicoot, with his sister Coco Bandicoot as his Echo Fighter. He’d fit in with the rest of the Microsoft characters, since he is one as of 2023 (The Activision Blizzard purchase in 2023).
    • I also want Spyro the Dragon in Smash. He’d have no Echo Fighter, but he'd make up for it with coolness.
• My favorite color is red.
• If I was in Smash, my series symbol would be a chicken nugget.
• I prefer {{iw}} over {{s}} when linking to interwiki articles. I only use {{s}} when I'm trying to link to another namespace aside from the mainspace.
• I prefer Battlefield and Ω forms over every other type of stage, except for the stage that is often confused with the best-selling gaming console of all time.
• This account and my Super Mario Wiki account were both created 3 days within each other; I created this account on February 4, 2026, and my Super Mario Wiki account on February 7, 2026.
• Ness is innocent. He can't actually PK Fire spam in his home series. The mastermind behind PK Fire spam is actually Paula.
  • Thank her for all of those Nesses you encountered online who couldn't stop spamming that move. She taught all of them PK Fire for Smash.
