Neat trick to link to non-English Wikipedias without having to use an external link format[edit]
[[wikipedia:<language prefix>:<article name>|<display text>]]
MarioWiki uses this trick for its {{wp}} template, so I thought that we could use it here for something.
Example link:
A link to the Spanish Wikipedia's Main Page
If you go into the editor, you can see that the example link above is not created by this code,<span class="plainlinks">[https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Portada A link to the Spanish Wikipedia's Main Page]</span>
but rather this code.[[wikipedia:es:Wikipedia:Portada|A link to the Spanish Wikipedia's Main Page]]
This also works with other Wikimedia projects which have separate versions for each language, such as Wiktionary and Wikibooks.
Nonsense[edit]
Kind of a trivia test, but the trivia is random nonsensical stuff that doesn't really make sense.
- If you count Wikipedia as a video game, then technically, Wikipedia is the first video game to focus mainly on the level editor.
- As the first version of Wikipedia was released on January 15, 2001, this means it's roughly 7 3/4 years older than the game LittleBigPlanet, which first released in North America on October 27, 2008.
